Version 2026-10-02. Please read this before you train with VikaFit. By using the app you confirm that you have read and understood it.
1. What VikaFit is — and what it is not
VikaFit is a library of videos showing how one or more people perform exercises and workouts, together with timers and a training log. It is offered so that people who want to can watch these exercises and decide for themselves whether and how to do them.
VikaFit is not:
- a personal trainer, coach or fitness programme tailored to you. Nobody at VikaFit sees you, your body, your technique or your health;
- professional, medical, physiotherapy or nutritional advice;
- instruction on the "correct" or "safe" way to exercise. The videos show how particular people did an exercise, not a standard you must follow;
- a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.
The people behind VikaFit are not certified fitness trainers, physicians or physiotherapists, hold no licence to run a gym or provide training services, and do not present themselves as such.
2. No promises
We do not promise or guarantee any result (such as weight loss, strength, endurance or appearance), and we do not guarantee that any exercise, workout, timing, number of rounds, sets or repetitions shown in the app is safe or suitable for you. Calorie and other figures in the app are rough estimates, not measurements, and must not be used for medical purposes.
3. Your health is your decision
Physical exercise carries risks, including muscle and joint injuries, falls, overexertion, dizziness, fainting, heart problems and, in rare cases, death.
- Talk to a doctor before you start any exercise programme — especially if you have or have had heart or circulatory disease, high or low blood pressure, chest pain, dizziness or fainting, diabetes, asthma or other breathing problems, joint, back or bone problems, a recent injury or surgery, if you are pregnant or have recently given birth, take medication or have any other condition that may be affected by physical activity.
- Stop immediately if you feel pain, pressure in the chest, shortness of breath beyond normal exertion, dizziness, nausea or anything unusual, and seek medical help if needed. In an emergency call your local emergency number (112 in the EU).
- Exercise within your own limits, warm up, use a safe space, suitable footwear and equipment in good condition, and do not train under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Every person decides for themselves, on their own responsibility, whether to do anything they see in the app, in what form and how intensely.
4. Your own risk
You use VikaFit and do any exercise voluntarily and at your own risk. To the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, VikaFit is not liable for injuries, health problems or other damage arising from exercises you choose to perform, from pre-existing conditions, or from the way you perform them.
This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law — in particular for death or personal injury caused by our intent or gross negligence, or under mandatory consumer protection law of your country. See also section 9 of the Terms of Use.
5. Minimum age
VikaFit is intended for people aged 16 and over.
